NEDS Testimonials

The New England Dessert Showcase was a valuable tool for Strawberry Hill Confectionery. It allowed us to connect directly to the end consumer of our Whirl-Ease-Tea. Over 2,000 Whirl-Ease-Teas were served to visitors at The Showcase. Other trade shows give us access to wholesale buyers but The Dessert Showcase gave us the unique opportunity to introduce our innovative tea directly to customers and get their feedback on the product. The energy and the enthusiasm we experienced from the guests at the show was also an added bonus. We look forward to next year’s Showcase and are already discussing new marketing tools to promote Whirl-Ease-Tea at next year’s event.

- Henry Zunino – Co-Founder, Strawberry Hill Confectionery

This event and this company are one-of-a-kind. The blend of professionalism, excitement, expertise and flat out intelligence shines through. It is noticeable whether you’re here as a guest or here as a business exhibiting.

- Paul Del Vecchio – Boston Common Coffee

This event is truly one of a kind. It’s the perfect, and hard to achieve, blend of a business audience and consumers. And what fun! The Showcase was run flawlessly, which is impressive for such a large and entailed event. Our business benefited tremendously from our involvement. I simply cannot say enough positive things about The Dessert Showcase, the management and execution.

- Peter McGinnis – PPM Gift Bags

The New England Dessert Showcase was a wonderful opportunity to both meet the purveyors behind elite dessert products while having the occasion to interact with an enthusiastic desert aficionado public. In particular, I was overjoyed to instruct a vegan cookie dough demonstration and participate in an informative interview, followed by a spirited Q&A session.

- Nina Hayes – Founder, Sugar Me Cookies

Promoting The New England Dessert Showcase was not only great content for our site, but a way to provide a contest that targets our foodie demo. We would definitely love to run a similar promotion again next year. Our winners came back with dessert-happy reviews. The New England Dessert Showcase featured so many delicious treats, our users were thrilled and the event organizers are tough to beat!

- Claudia Huapaya – Marketing Coordinator, Going.com

The Dessert Showcase was great fun but you really can’t go wrong with desserts. I was impressed by the display of sweets from the local area chefs and enjoyed the interaction with the guests during the demonstration I conducted. It’s always great to get a few questions from a crowd to keep you on your toes and Boston is a well informed Foodie Nation so there were questions! I was thrilled to be included in the festivities!

- Nicole Coady – Executive Pastry Chef, fixx chocolates

I thought this was a great way to get our restaurant and dessert menu out there. The whole event was well managed by The Anthem Group – truly world class. We received great feedback from the guests, from potential corporate accounts and from the other exhibitors. It was a great success and we look forward to next year.

- Michael Greene – Executive Chef, Chart House Boston

Absolutely great way to spend an afternoon! Well-managed event with informative demonstrations and the desserts were amazing.

- Will McAdoo – The Boston Foodie

We found the expo very well organized and smooth throughout.

Not only did our internet sales increase 10 fold right after the event but we made amazing commercial contacts including Whole Foods and The Starwood Group.

We will definitely attend their next event to increase consumer sales as well  as make commercial contacts.

See you next year!

- Michael McCarthy – President, Budi Bar
